Prophecy confounds me. I do not know the truth of the shadows
I see dancing on distant walls, as the clock counts down. Evidence
is not a part of the future, but of the past, and memory shows
the unreliability of lovers who came on their own terms, a sense
of doom and desperation demanding a sacrifice of blood and seed.
I am not your lover, yet, and perhaps never will be, like the elusive liars
who danced away in the morning light, mourning that feed and bleed
on my words, but that want nothing more than a feast of echoes, fires
burning in memory and hopes that were dashed by a second thought
caught upon the turning wheel of stone that ground grandiose song
into whimpers of a wounded animal in the shadows of the night, bought
and sold with the IOUs of deceitful paramours, their right to make wrong
the amomancies that others will read over my casket, and curse their name,
each muse that flitted like a moth around a campfire of a passive fame and flame.

My Romantic Song Lyrics
The night as the moon shines down below,
if only you were there
the leaves blow in the air
a heart that loves like so
a pathway be, let it be
a pathway to your soul
And let me sing you a lullaby
sweet my dear in your dreams
Literature
Sink or swim
He stood on the dock
One foot reluctantly planted
The other standing at the ready
Like that fleeting moment
Suspended in mid-air
Gleefully anticipating the water on your skin
Yet apprehensive of those undiscovered depths
Which have yet to be kissed by sunlight
She dove in head-fist
Through the reeds and the icy darkness
And watched from below
As the light fragmented
Along the rippled surface
How stunning it was
Even in the deepest and feared unknown
Especially there.
In the light and in the dark
There was only him
He watched as she held her breath
Shackled by his own mind
Wanting for that planted foot
To be freed from its hesitations
Literature
Dear Mother
Dear Mother
I would like to tell you
That you’re the greatest mom in the world.
You tell me
To ignore what other people say.
You tell me
I’m the greatest daughter in the world.
I would like to tell you
You’re the support beam in my life.
So during our next encounter
I’ll make you breakfast in bed
And I’ll clean my room just for you
So that you can relax without worries
Because I love you.
